William L. Eddleman Jr., CPA, CFA
Director of Fixed Income and Credit Research

Bill has led Argus Credit Research since 2003 and has more than 30 years experience in securities analysis, with substantial expertise in such areas as bankruptcy, distressed debt, and turnaround equities. During his career, Bill has also managed $1 billion in major portfolios at American General High-Yield Investments and Great Southern Life Insurance Company, and has served as an adjunct professor of finance at Dallas Baptist University. Bill earned an MBA from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of Houston.

Thomas R. Mongan, CFA
Senior Analyst

Tom has more than 30 years of experience in financial services and has served as a senior investment management executive at Bank One Texas, University Bank, and Victoria Bank and Trust. He has also worked as an institutional salesperson for AIM Management Group and Citicorp. Tom holds an MBA from the University of Houston and a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri.

Kathleen H. Pacini
Assistant Analyst

Kathleen graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communications. Kathleen's work focuses on MLPs, REITs and Corporate Debt. For many years she worked in the advertising industry in Houston, TX. Since moving to Austin, she worked for several years in the movie industry establishing and maintaining archives for a prestigious filmmaker. She recently joined the Argus Credit Research team as an assistant analyst. She is a Level I candidate in the CFA program

Diane DeKoning Houk
Assistant Analyst

Diane DeKoning Houk recently joined Argus Credit Research as an Assistant Analyst specializing in credit research of corporate fixed income securities. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin in civil engineering, graduating Magna Cum Laude. In addition, Diane earned a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Houston with the dual designation of the Dean's Award. She joins Argus Credit Research with many years of experience in the oil and gas industry and with hands on experience in financial modeling and securities analysis and selection. Diane is a Level II candidate in the CFA program.
